Michael Napack

Director, Sales & Marketing

Mike Napack brings over 15 years experience in the medical device industry to the Infraredx management team. During the course of his career he has developed very strong customer relationships in the Interventional Cardiology, Vascular Surgery, and the Peripheral Vascular marketplaces. He is experienced in managing and building sales organizations, in the integration of sales forces into parent companies through acquisitions, and the market development of new and innovative interventional products.

Before joining InfraRedx, Mike participated in the growth and development of EV3, a startup company specializing in Cardiac and Peripheral Vascular devices to include Carotid and Peripheral stents, PTA balloons, and the SPIDER ™ Distal Protection Device. As Director of Sales he fashioned a significant sales increase in his Division and helped to facilitate the expansion of the EV3 salesforce from 20 to 75 representatives.

Prior to EV3, he was Director of Sales at SciMed/Boston Scientific where he managed a 160 million dollar Division to include SciMed and its Interventional Cardiology products and Meditech whose products lead in the Peripheral Vascular marketplace. Mike was responsible for 5 Regions and 40 sales professionals and he also participated in the market development of Coronary Stents, PTCA Balloons, Rotational Atherectomy, Cutting Balloon, Intravascular Ultrasound, and others.

Mike began his interventional experience with SciMed in its early stages and contributed to its growth and market expansion ahead of its acquisition by Boston Scientific.
